Healthcare services in Taylor County include focus on all parts of the body. For 47 years, the doctors of the Medford Dental Clinic have provided dental services to the area.
Procedures that they office include root canals, crowns, dentures, repairs, extractions, cleanings and exams.
They have two attending doctors Dr. Dan Miskulin, and Dr. Gary Krueger. Dr. Miskulin and Dr. Krueger are both graduates from the Marquette University as Doctors of Dental Surgery.
Since 1977, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry of Wisconsin offers a full range of cosmetic and restorative services with an emphasis on dental implants. Dr. Kim Gowey has been placing dental implants since 1981 and has extensive experience in the field. He uses advanced technology and finely honed surgical skills to provide stable, lifelike implant-supported restorations. With over three decades of experience, he can provide many types of implantsupported restorations with minimal discomfort and exceptional long-term results. Dr. Gowey is board-certified by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He also served as the former president of the AAID, and he is an international lecturer on the subject.

Kraemer has been a Wisconsin licensed aesthetician in Medford for 15 years. She is an instructor and consultant in the skin care industry and member of Associated Skin Care Professionals, specializing in holistic aesthetics. This approach takes all aspects of the individual into account to personalize a treatment plan in an effort to heal and clear the skin from the inside out.
In January 2018, Kraemer moved to her current location on Main Street in downtown Medford where she continues her holistic approach to healing through creation of a tranquil and inviting space in her office that was designed with the client’s comfort in mind.
Black River Hemp
Located in downtown Medford, Black River Hemp is owned by Misty and Derek Poehnelt. The store features locally grown industrial hemp products that are rich in cannabinoids (CBD) Misty is passionate about natural holistic health and healing. With a practitioner of healing arts degree, she has run an alternative health business, wellness coaching, massage therapy, and energy work. She went back to school and received a bachelors of science in health and wellness, specializing in behavior change and therapeutic lifestyle coaching.
