Scott C. Rasmussen, 47, Oshkosh, and Allan A. Peissig, 74, Stetsonville, were involved in an accident on December 9 at 4:32 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Rasmussen vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13 slowing down for traffic when it was struck from behind by the Peissig vehicle. Peissig said he could not stop in time for the slowed traffic. Both vehicles sustained minor damage to their respective ends. Road surface conditions and speeding too fast for conditions by Peissig were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Danny N. Green, 30, Medford, and an unknown vehicle were involved in an accident on December 10 at 9:06 a.m. in the alleyway at 202 S. Main Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Green vehicle was backing out of a parking space adjacent to the alleyway when it struck the unknown vehicle which was southbound through the alleyway. Green spoke to the driver of the unknown vehicle who left the scene and was not identified prior to the arrival of the law enforcement officer. The driver of the unknown vehicle did not return to the scene or report the accident. The Green vehicle sustained damage to the right rear corner. The unknown vehicle, a white Pontiac, sustained damage to the passenger door.

Noel Lazu Ortiz, 39, Abbotsford, and Mary E. Thompson, 47, Thorp, were involved in an accident on December 11 at 11:48 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. according to the accident report, the Lazu Ortiz vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13 and slowing to make a right turn into a driveway at 630 S. Eighth St. when it was struck from behind by the Thompson vehicle. Thomson admitted she did not see the Lazu Ortiz vehicle because the glare on the roadway was too bright. Both vehicle sustained minor damage to their respective ends. Operating a motor vehicle in an attentive, careless or erratic manner by Thompson was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Roy A. Jochimsen, 60, Withee, and Amy J. Dircks, 42, Gilman, were involved in an accident on December 13 at 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Allman Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, both vehicle were southbound on Hwy 13 and passing through the roundabout with Allman Street. The Jochimsen vehicle, a tractor-trailer unit, was in the right lane and slightly ahead of the Dircks vehicle which was in the left lane. The trailer of the Jochimsen vehicle tracked toward the centerline and made contact with and damaged the fender of the Dircks vehicle. There was no reported damage to the Jochimsen vehicle.

Julie A. Lake, 48, Ogema, and Gregory E. Roraff, 71, Medford, were involved in an accident on December 14 at 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot at County Market, 160 Medford Plaza in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Lake vehicle was pulling into a parking space when it struck the front bumper of the legally-parked and unoccupied Roraff vehicle. Lake stated there was ice in the parking lot which caused her vehicle to slide and the anti-lock brakes activated. There was minor damage to the front bumper of the

John D. Jakel, 81, Medford, and Betty J. Miskulin, 68, Stetsonville, were involved in an accident on December 18 at 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Apple Avenue in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Jackel vehicle was westbound on Apple Avenue and attempting to cross Hwy 13 when it struck the Miskulin vehicle which was southbound on Hwy 13. Jakel said he did not see the Miskulin vehicle while crossing Hwy 13. The Jakel vehicle sustained minor damage to the left front corner. The Miskulin vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side middle. Failure to yield the right-of-way by Jakel was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued a citation for failing to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

Roraff vehicle. There was no reported damage to the Lake vehicle.

Edgar R. Jaimes Uribe, 25, Stetsonville, was involved in an accident on December 9 at 11:14 p.m. on CTH E in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Jaimes Uribe vehicle was northbound on CTH E when the driver lost control on a patch of ice on the roadway. The vehicle entered the east ditch and came to a stop on its roof. There was damage to the entire vehicle and it was towed from the scene.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Arlene D. Barts, 82, Abbotsford, on December 15 at 9:25 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black.

Joshua H. Schultz, 19, Stetsonville, on December 16 at 6:53 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black.

Christopher J. Banks, 46, Medford, on December 17 at 2:01 a.m. on CTH A in the town of Little Black.
