Farm toy show

The 32nd annual Farm Toy and Craft Sale sponsored by the Marathon FFA Alumni will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marathon Area Elementary School. Proceeds from the event will support the Marathon FFA and the Marathon High School agricultural program.

Story Time Yoga

Story Time Yoga by Jessica Halvorsen will be presented Friday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Marathon City Village Hall. The program is for parents, caregivers and children of all ages. Participants should wear workout clothes and shoes. No yoga mats will be necessary.

Thanksgiving banquet

St. Mary’s School, Marathon, will host a 20th annual Thanksgiving community banquet Thursday, Nov. 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

To make a reservation for the no-charge dinner, call 715-443-3124. Meal delivery is available on request.

Harvest Story Time

Children and their parents/ caregivers can hear autumnthemed stories, sing songs and make a special craft based on the fall harvest during a special story time on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Marathon Branch Public Library. St. John’s

The Ladies Aid at St. John’s Lutheran Church, town of Rib Falls, will meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Open forum

An open forum meeting is scheduled Sunday, Nov. 17, 6:30 p.m. to discuss the possibilities of combining St. John’s Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran Church and St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church into one ministry.

All members from all three congregations are invited and encouraged to attend.

Games Week

The Marathon County Public Library will host International Game Week from Monday, Nov. 11, through Saturday, Nov. 16. Patrons are invited to play a variety of board games.

Needle art

Knitters and crocheters are invited to gather for a night of crafts and socializing Wednesday, Nov. 20, 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the Marathon Branch Public Library. Participants are asked to bring their own supplies.

Small Shop Saturday

Forty small businesses and crafters will gather Nov. 30 for a Small Shop Saturday at Marathon Area Elementary School 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature raffle baskets to benefit Maddy Lang.
