Quilt shop offers creative outlet for Cornell crafters

Quilting aficionados now have a local option to buy their sewing needs. Uncommon Creations is located on State Hwy. 27 in Cornell. Owner Vicki Visser opened the business in October 2020.

“I have fabrics, sewing notions, patterns, books,” said Visser.

She also carries wool for appliqué work. “Quilting is my passion,” said Visser, of why she decided to open the shop. “And I bought a new longarm machine, so I thought, well, I need some backings.”
