Patricia Obermeyer

Patricia Obermeyer, 86, of Wausau, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026.

Patricia was born on July 1, 1940, to John and Julia (Niemczyk) Obermeyer. She is survived by her brother, John Obermeyer; her sister, Carol (Gordon) Baseman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Laumer; brother, David Obermeyer; sister, Marcella Will; and sister-in-law, Dianne Obermeyer.

Patricia worked for Wausau Insurance from the time she graduated from high school until her retirement. She had a special love for her furry friends, especially her dogs and cats. She also enjoyed gardening. Most of all, Patricia’s faith in God was an important part of her life, and her church meant a great deal to her.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 125074 County Road U, Edgar, WI54426. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. Burial will follow.
