Francis Guralski
Francis L. “Frank” Guralski, 57, of Stratford died early morning of Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at his home with his wife at his side.
A funeral service was held at noon on Saturday, March 21, at Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford with Pastor Amy Heinz presiding. Judy Polege provided the music. The family welcomed relatives and friends for visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be scheduled in the spring at the church cemetery.
Frank was born October 3, 1968, in Wausau, to LeRoy and Terra Lee (Sigl) Guralski. He along with his five brothers were raised in rural Edgar and was a 1986 graduate of the high school there. Frank was united in marriage to the former Miss Angela “Angie” Borchardt on June 1, 1991, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Edgar.
Frank found his greatest joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. He had a deep love for farming—especially tractors and tending to the ginseng—and took great pride in working the land. Above all, he cherished time spent with his beloved wife, his son, and his brothers. Becoming a grandfather was one of his greatest blessings, and he treasured every moment watching his grandson grow, as well as time shared with his many great-nieces and nephews. Whether farming, snowmobiling or simply enjoying the outdoors, Frank embraced life with quiet strength and a deep appreciation for family, leaving behind memories that will be held close forever.
Frank is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angela; his son, Mitchell (Shelby) Guralski; one grandson, Grant Guralski; mother, Terra Lee Guralski; four brothers: Matthew (Angela) Guralski, Michael (Katy) Guralski, James (Kim) Guralski and Bernard (Rachel) Guralski. His is also survived by his mother-in-law, Patricia Emon and siblings-in-law: Ricky (Pam) Borchardt and Amy (Cal) Reno. Frank is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy, his brother, Luke, and nephew, Gage Anderson.
The family wishes to sent a special thank you to Compassus Hospice and Brittany at Marshfield Clinic Physical Therapy for their loving care during Frank’s illness.
