Harvey Gene Meyer

1938-2025

Harvey Gene Meyer, 87, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Nov. 9, 2025.

Born and raised in Medford, Harvey graduated from Medford High School in 1957 and later trained in the electrician trade. Handy and hardworking, he owned a television repair shop and was known for fixing anything—especially cars, a skill he learned from his father. He enjoyed electronics, tinkering, and helping others. Harvey also loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing, and camping.

He is reunited in eternal life with his wife of 60 years, Janice; his parents, Albert and Iola; his siblings, Ronnie, Betty, and Patty; and his dog, Miley.

Survivors include his children, Bruce, Scott (Elaine), and Michelle (Al); his brother, Jerry; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his dog, Kia.

Harvey will be laid to rest beside Janice in St. Mary Cemetery in Holway.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
