Judith “Judi” A. (Fethler) Young

Judith “Judi” A. (Fethler) Young, 74, Holcombe, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire.

Judi was born March 3, 1951, in Chicago, Ill., to George and Charlotte Fethler.

She married Phillip Young, July 27, 1983. They moved to Holcombe, together, in 1989, but divorced a few years later. Despite this, they remained good friends through the years.

A known lover of all animals, Judi raised and rode show horses, while living in Chicago, Ill. After moving to Holcombe, she raised and showed bloodhounds, earning several awards for all.

She is survived by her sister – Joyce Palumbo; her nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents – George and Charlotte Fethler; and Phillip Young.

Services are at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell. Visitation begins at noon, and goes until the start of the service, at 2 p.m.
