Daniel “Dan” M. Wiater

Daniel “Dan” M. Wiater, 64, Town of Lafayette, Chippewa County, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at his home.

Dan was born April 21, 1959.

He loved his job at REACH, he loved his family,  was a friendly guy, loved going places,  loved talking to females, he was in Special Olympics, in general, Dan loved to talk to everyone.

Dan enjoyed sports, including the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.

He is survived by special caregivers from Make a Difference Homes, and his group home family and his REACH family.

He was preceded in death by family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Pastor Wayne North officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, Sunday, at the funeral home.
