Shirley A. Greene

Shirley A. Greene, 84, Cadott, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Meadowbrook of Bloomer.

Shirley was born Aug. 6, 1938, and was raised in the Town of Sigel, the daughter of Edward and Agnes Zillyette.

She married the love of her life, Wayne Greene Sr., June 9, 1956. Together, they farmed in the Town of Sigel, until 1998, when they retired and built their new home.

Shirley loved fishing, playing cards, gardening and the outdoors.

She is survived by her three children – Carol, Wayne Jr. and Bruce; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, in 2016.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sigel Town Hall, Saturday, June 4, from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Leiser Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cadott, is assisting the family.
