Lorraine F. Foiles

Lorraine F. Foiles, 80, Cadott, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Lake Hallie Memory Care, in Lake Hallie.

Lorraine was born June 20, 1941, in the Town of Edson, to George J. Wellner Sr. and Theresia (Soeller) Wellner.

She married Dallas N. Foiles June 3, 1961, at Saint Rose of Lima Church in Cadott.

Lorraine lived and worked after graduation from Cadott High School, where she worked for Bob and Harriet Hamm, as a live-in babysitter. After her marriage, she and Dallas farmed until 1998, in the Township of Anson.

Until she retired, she worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in the area, and Huhns Group Home in Cadott.

Lorraine’s greatest joy was her four grandchildren, and going out to eat with family and friends. Also, her short trips taken with her nephew, Neil, each year, to add to her collection of bears, cows and John Deere items.

She is survived by her two daughters – Rita (Michael) Daken, Cadott, and Charlotte (Brent) Seibel, Cadott; grandchildren – Shane Foiles (Tracey Veenendall) Menomonie, Chance Seibel (Maija Wehmas) Hayward, Cole (Taylor) Seibel, Eau Claire, and Cheyann Seibel, Cadott; great-grandchildren – Marissa and Braydon Veenendall; brother and sisters – Doris Wellner, Alice Saputo, Mae Boeger, George Wellner Jr. and Rosie Ebert; brother and sister-in-law – Don and Gloria Foiles; nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband – Dallas; mother and father – George and Theresia Wellner; in-laws – Delbert and Violetta Foiles; two sisters – Walda Wellner and Theresa Witt; sister-in-law – Eloise Foiles; three brothers-in-law – Leon Witt, Louis Saputo and Gene Boeger; and two nieces – Brenda Witt and Jayne Foiles.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Countryside Union Cemetery in the Town of Goetz.

Leiser Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cadott, is assisting the family.
