Andrew “Andy” Charles Langel
Andrew “Andy” Charles Langel, 34, Cornell, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Oakridge in Osseo.
Andrew was born Sept. 19, 1986, the son of Arthur and Wanda (Knez) Langel, in Stanley.
He grew up in the Town of Colburn, and attended and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School.
Following high school, Andrew worked at Built-Rite in Stanley, and also was a farm hand for Gary Hawkienson and later, a handyman for Danny Lemon.
Andy loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents – Arthur and Wanda Langel; two sisters – Hannah and Carman Langel; a nephew – Jeremy Fasbender; a niece – Haven Langel; and by many aunts; uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents – Charles and Lillie Knez; paternal grandparents – Emil and Martha Langel; and two sisters – Amy and Aron Langel.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, with Pastor Dean Benzschawel officiating.
Inurnment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Boyd, at a later date.A memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m., until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
