Dorothy (Chmelik) Johnson

Dorothy (Chmelik) Johnson, 89, Cornell, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls. Dorothy was born Aug. 26, 1931, in the Village of Cadott, the daughter of William and Mildred Chmelik. She married Duane Johnson May 28, 1949. Dorothy is survived by three daughters – Linda Bruyette, Cornell, Dorothy (Charles) Schroeder, Cornell, and Candace (Dan) Pecha, Bloomer; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son– Bill; her husband – Duane; and her sister – Karen. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
