Theodore “Ted” C. Green

Theodore “Ted” C. Green, 89, passed away at his home, Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020.

Ted was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Princeton, Minn., and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Arvid and Marie (Sabo) Green.

He married Dorothy Anderson May 16, 1953, in Milaca, Minn.

Ted served in the Army National Guard and worked as a school custodian.

He enjoyed listening to music, watching the Minnesota Twins and playing on his computer.

Ted loved his family and enjoyed teasing his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife – Dorothy, Bloomer; daughters – Laura Green, Cornell, Linda Green, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Jerolyn “Jeri” (Mark) Stender, Holcombe; sister – Arlyss Johnson, Milaca, Minn.; grandchildren – Crystal (Sam) Fankhauser, Rice Lake, Kelsey (Luke) Meyer, Cornell, Casey O’Connor, Chicago, Ill., Georgia (Cory Tirrel) O’Connor, Holcombe, and Bailey O’Connor, Holcombe; great-grandchildren – Taylor, Harrison, Kylie, Evelynn and Lukah; and numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather – Marie and Arvid Green.

Services will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m., at Bloomer Baptist Church, with a visitation from 11 a.m., until the time of service, at the church.

Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.

Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, is assisting the family.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
