Mark R. Miller, age 75, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Rib Lake Health Services, under the compassionate care of Northshore Hospice, surrounded by his wife and children. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date. Mark was born on Aug. 5, 1950, in Fond du Lac, to Roland and Beverly (Straw) Miller. Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army and Army National Guard, with a long and dedicated career spanning from 1968 to 1989, where he earned the Bronze Star in 1970. Mark was a hardworking man who spent more than 30 years as an over-the-road truck driver, traveling countless miles and working for various companies throughout his career.

On July 8, 2023, Mark married the love of his life, Janice Miller. Together they shared a deep bond and a love for the simple joys of life.

Mark was a true outdoorsman at heart. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and tending

the garden alongside his wife. Whether working with his hands or enjoying time outside, Mark found happiness in being productive, self-reliant, and surrounded by nature.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; his children, Terry (Sandra) Miller, Tammy (Mike) Downing, Jessica Miller and Jenni (Bryan) Miller-Gittings; his step-children, John (Sharon) Baker, Missy (Greg) Morhmann and Kimberly (Chris) Baker; his grandchildren, Brandon (Sam) Miller, Trey Miller, Austin (Laurie) Miller, Joshua Downing and Nick Gittings; step-grandchildren, Jessica (Thomas) Proffitt, KaliSue (Mason) Baker, Matthew Morhmann and Alec Morhmann; great-grandchildren, Eric Miller, Elizah Miller and Austin Jr. Miller; and step-great-grandchildren, Oliver, Ian and Evan Proffitt.

He is further survived by his siblings, Mike Miller and Bonnie Miller; along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Beverly Miller; and his siblings, Myron Miller, Mary Miller, and Ruth Indermuehle.
