Jennifer Lee Welch, 68, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025. She was born July 12, 1957, in Wisconsin Rapids, daughter of Donald and Irene (Reinhardt) Fischer. Jennifer graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1975, then went on to earn her degree in nursing. She married Steven Welch on Nov. 22, 1992, in Eagle River. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years, recently retiring to spend more time with her beloved husband.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Joseph (in infancy).

She is survived by her husband, Steven, of 33 years; son, Nicholas, of Marion; daughter, Stephanie, of Iowa City, Iowa; three brothers, Andrew (Sandy), of New Brunfels, Texas, John (Tammy), of Marshfield, and David (Cindy), of St. Paul; five sisters, Elizabeth (George) Lukewich, of Medford, Denise Fischer, of Hartland, Kathy (Joe) Ziembo, of Medford, Mary (Randy) Senkbeil, of St. Paul, Minn., and Beverly (Keith) Bright, of New Berlin.
