Carol Ann Cederholm

1941-2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Cederholm (Bishop), who left us on August 26, 2025 at the age of 83. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carol was born on Nov. 11, 1941 in Chicago, Ill.. Growing up, she grew up in Cedar Lake, Ind. and attended Crown Point High School. Eventually she moved up to Medford, and settled there. Carol was known for her kindness, curiosity, and dedication to family and friends.
Throughout her career, Carol had a desire to help others, but in particular the disabled who needed assistance. She devoted the latter part of her life to caring for people unable to meet their own daily needs. She was respected for her integrity, hard work, and commitment to excellence. The families whom she served will remember her dedication to providing the best care for their loved ones.
Carol was a devoted parent, cherishing every moment spent with family. She enjoyed cooking and baking; she loved to shop and occasionally make a stop at the casino and found joy in being with and spending time with all her family. Friends and family recall her warmth, generosity, and sense of humor.
Carol’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind four children, David (Cathy), Berthyne, Robert, and Daniel (Tina) and joins Terry. She leaves nine grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and countless family and friends who will continue to honor her memory by living with the compassion and grace she exemplified.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Oct. 11, 2025 at Chelsea Conservation Club, beginning at 3 p.m. through 10 p.m. All who knew her are welcome to attend and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace Lutheran Foundation Inc., in honor of Carol.
May she rest in peace and forever remain in our hearts.
