Delores M. Noland

Delores M. Noland, 88, of the township of Browning, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her home, under the care of Hope Hospice and her family A Funeral Mass for Delores took place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Patrick McConnell officiated. Burial followed at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation took place at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, Medford on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 from 4 p.m. until the time of a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation continued on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Delores was born on May 28, 1935 in the township of Holton to Frank and Nellie (Empey) Baronsky. After her schooling she worked for Streckert Manufacturing in Abbotsford until her marriage. She married Robert “Bob” Noland on May 11, 1960 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan. After her marriage she became a homemaker and farmer. She and Bob farmed together for over 40 years.

Delores was a great cook and loved to bake, especially

pies. She also loved to garden and grow flowers. She enjoyed writing poems in birthday cards and playing the accordion. She volunteered for 4H, where her children were members. She loved her family and enjoyed sharing stories with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a caring and generous person who always put everyone before herself.

Delores is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Brian (Lisa) Noland of Medford, their children, Amber (Matt) Neumueller, Timothy (Shannon Hemer) Noland, and Heidi (Eric) Stark; Galen Noland of Medford and his children, Macie (Jesse) Judnic, Christopher (Alyssa Eisner) Noland, and Kayla (Brent Hilbert) Noland; Susan (Larry Peterson) Noland and their children, Luke (Nikki Jaeger) Peterson and Ethan (Natalie Schill) Peterson and step-grandchildren Miles and Jared and their spouses and families; daughter-in-law, Patty Noland and children, Katelyn (Wilson) Fowle, Elizabeth (Colby Winter) Noland, and Jacob Noland; great-grandchildren, Livia, Parker, Harper, Taytum, Kylie, Finley, and Amelia. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, Carl and Marcella Noland, son, Thomas Noland, and siblings, Grace, Everett, Janet, and Allen.
