Lillian Miller Lillian Miller

1927-2023

Lillian Miller, 96, of Waupun, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Christian Home in Waupun. Lillian was born Feb. 24, 1927, the daughter of William and Lillian Krueger. On Feb. 26, 1944 she married Emil Miller in Wisconsin. The couple then moved to Rib Lake, to be closer to family. Lillian’s favorite passion was raising her family and taking care of her children. She also really enjoyed writing letters to people and sending cards in the mail. When others needed encouragement or couldn’t get out she would write them cards to try and lift their spirits. Her faith was very important to her and she wanted to share that with everyone. She went to Sunday service, helped with Sunday school, and held bible studies at their home, being a part of different Christian activities. In her early years she loved to polka, go camping, fishing, cooking, baking, and having friends over for coffee. She cherished her loyal neighbors. Lillian really loved to babysit for her children and other people in the area. When all the kids moved out they would travel around Wisconsin to see all the children.

Lillian is survived by her children, Sheree (Joe) Fuchs of Waupun, Myron (Cindy) Miller of Wisconsin Rapids, and Rhonda (Dennis) Graumann of Waupun; daughter-in-law, Judy Miller of New Berlin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Emil in 1998; her two sisters, Darlene Gorichs and Caroline (Mickey) Quante; two sons, Duane Miller and Randy Miller; and one other grandson.

No services will take place. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.

A special thanks to the staff at the Christian Home in Waupun.
