Rosella “Rose” Mravik, 88, formerly of South Milwaukee, passed away on July 3, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Luxemburg. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church-Gilman with Father Madanu Sleeva officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery-Lublin. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1934 the daughter of the late Ernest and Sylvia (Oats) Webster. Rosella married Valentine Mravik on Aug. 8, 1953 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church-Lublin. The couple moved to South Milwaukee soon thereafter.

Rosella was a homemaker and a sales associate for Sears for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, often traveling to visit family members. She spent her summers gardening, canning, and baking. A family favorite was fried bread and cinnamon rolls. Rose enjoyed crocheting, painting, and many other crafts. She never met a craft she did not enjoy. She and Valentine began crafting together, making family Christmas gifts, and greeting cards. They enjoyed attending local farmer’s markets and craft fairs. Rose loved going to the casino, having lunch with the Sears ladies, and bumming with her friend Peggy. Most of all she loved seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Linda) Mravik of Lublin, Delbert (Diana) Mravik of South Milwaukee, Rodene (Michael) Bulley of Adamstown, Md., Bonnie (Carl) Onesti of Luxemburg, Kathern Mravik of Franklin, and Sylvia (Cary) Fischer of South Milwaukee; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one due in August; one sister, Mary (Joe) Thorgerson of Jump River; and brothers, Leland (Sylvia) Webster and Marvin (Theresa) Webster both of Gilman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Valentine (2015); a grandson, David Mravik; a son in law, Scott Winter; and her siblings, Donald, Stanley, Rodger, Ivan, Joan Morris and Gordon.
