Delmar Shayne Stockwell, age 51 passed away on Dec. 24, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. A funeral service for Delmar will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at RJ Stockwell Land & Auction Co. N155 Hwy 13, Dorchester, WI 54425. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will take place at RJ Stockwell Land & Auction Co. from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Delmar was born in Medford on May 10, 1971, the eighth child of Wilbur and Audrey (Brunner) Stockwell. After his mother Audrey passed away in 1974 his father remarried and he was lovingly raised by his stepmother Myrtle (Krisher) Stockwell. He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 1989. Delmar was interested and skilled with computers. He attended Madison Area Technical School in Madison. He worked for The Boss Industries in Madison for several years.

Delmar made his choice at a young age to serve the Lord and later was called to serve in the ministry. In January 1995 he began work in the ministry in South Carolina. He later labored in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Despite several health challenges, Delmar remained committed to the work of sharing the Gospel for the love of the souls of all.

Delmar is survived by five brothers and one sister, Alan (Pam) of Winona, Minn., Randy (Beaner) of Dorchester, Jeannine (Louie) Orlando of Mount Pleasant, Brian (Julie) of Jamestown, N.D., Steve (Pearl) of Milnor, N.D., Doug (Brenda ) of Clearwater, Minn.; sister-in-law, Mary Stockwell of Mount Pleasant; uncle, Fred Griswold of Beaver Dam; and special cousins, Janice (Rick) Robinson and Jane (Syd) Behm who were similar in age and like sisters to him. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Delmar loved his natural family but he often referred to those he lived and worked among as his family. Delmar was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bruce.

The family wishes to thank all of his friends and coworkers who stood by and assisted and encouraged him to continue despite his declining health.
