John G. Zembruski

1944-2022

John G. Zembruski, age 78, passed away Dec. 7, 2022, at Wisconsin Veterans home at King.

The family will be having a private gathering.

John was born Oct. 1, 1944 to John and Sophie Zembruski. He lived a long fulfilling life with many memories and his family by his side. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting, painting, working on vehicles, and animals, especially dogs. John was the most loving man who wasn’t afraid to tell it like it is. He was outgoing, friendly, honest, and had the biggest heart. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Karen of Waupaca; son, Brian of Medford; sisters, Irene Kronberg of Milwaukee, Bernadine Bannach of Waukesha; and Stephanie Sletto of Waupun; brothers, Bob (Larraine) Zembruski of West Bend, and Dennis (Sue) Zembruski of Oak Creek; grandchildren Caitlin Zembruski of Madison, and Ashley Zembruski of Beaver Dam; great grandchildren, Asher Zembruski and SaCora Gryer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophie, son Joseph Zembruski, and sister Joan Schumacher.
