Hilma Ilene Buyatt

1928-2022

Hilma Ilene Buyatt, 93 of Jump River, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 at the Medford Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at New Hope Presbyterian Church Hannibal with Pastor Bev Thompson officiating. Inurnment followed in Mount Nebo Cemetery-Jump River. Visitation was one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

She was born in Newton, Iowa on Dec. 3, 1928 to the late Roy and Mary Lee (Thompson) Dickerson. Hilma grew up and later married Alfred “Butch” Buyatt on Aug. 12, 1946.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas Buyatt of Deerfield and Allen (Susan) Buyatt of Waukesha; her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Hilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Butch in 2014; son, William; brothers, Lavern, Harvey, Leonard and Paul; and her sister, Elda.

Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
