Obituary Policy

The Star News provides the option of either running a free death notice or a paid obituary.

A death notice will include the individual’s name, age, city, date of birth and service information. Funeral home names will be included if service or visitation is held there.

All other obituaries will be charged a rate of $6 per advertising column inch (1.58”).
