Cody R. Stibbe

1985-2 022 Cody R. Stibbe, age 36, of Medford, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. Cody was born in Medford, WI, on September 3, 1985, to Gregory and Barbara (Berry) Stibbe. He was married to Jennifer Miller on May 20, 2017; she survives. Memorial services for Cody Stibbe will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at 11 a.m., at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Rib Lake. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

Cody was a 2004 graduate of the Rib Lake High School and later attended the Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. He entered the workforce beginning employment at Miller Electric and then Musson Brothers, Inc. Most recently, he was employed at Integrity Construction. Spending time with his family made Cody the happiest. Going to the Gebauer cabin in Hazelhurst, Wis., with the whole family was something he always looked forward to. Being outside with his kids and ice fishing with his brother was his peaceful place. Hunting season with his dad and brothers was his favorite time of the year next to Christmas. As a child, he helped his grandmother set up her Christmas village every year and as an adult, he set it up in his own home every year. Cody loved music, fireworks, and bonfires. Putting on fireworks shows brought him great joy and brought his wife great anxiety. Cody could fix anything with nothing and liked to tinker in his garage. He was a huge sports fan and loved all things ESPN. Cody enjoyed golfing with his friends when he was home from working construction during the summers. He played drums (surprisingly well) and loved listening to music. His mom’s home-cooked meals and desserts were his favorite things to eat and she taught his wife how to make his favorites so he always had the comforts of home no matter how far away he was. Cody went out of his way to help those around him when they needed it. Cody will always be remembered for his big and kind heart.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Stibbe; one daughter, Haley Stibbe; one son, Axel Stibbe; his parents, Greg and Barb Stibbe; his two brothers, Aaron (Angie) Stibbe, and Kyle (Jasmine) Stibbe; and his two nieces, Elouise and Esmae Stibbe.

Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Laura Stibbe; his maternal grandparents, Guy and Marian Berry; and his aunt, Christie Stibbe.
