Mark N. Buehler

1937-2022

Mark N. Buehler, 84, of Medford, passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. A memorial Mass took place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 16, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation took place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, Mar. 16 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Mark was born on Oct. 29, 1937 to Carl and Kathren (Danen) Buehler in Medford. He married Delores Niebauer on Mar. 2, 1957 at Holy Rosary in Medford. Mark was a lifelong resident. He worked at Hurd Millwork, Tombstone Pizza, Foremost Foods, Potaczek Scrap Processing, and lastly at Weather Shield, before retiring. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, boating, camping and fly fishing.

Mark is survived by his wife, Delores Buehler; children, Randy (Susan) Buehler of Kimberly, Wendy Van Dyke of Menasha, and Cindy (Mike) Sanders of Appleton; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Lockwood of Oconomowoc; and special friend, Natalie Bugella of Chippewa Falls.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryan in 2010; granddaughter, Abby Van Dyke in 2002; grandson, Brandon Buehler in 2022; siblings, Chuck Buehler, Patty Ruos, Don Buehler, and 2 siblings in infancy.

Mark’s family would like to thank the medical team and caregivers at Aspirus Hospital in Medford and Wausau for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mark’s name may be made to Holy Rosary.
