Theodore E. “Butch” Goerg

1941-2022

Theodore E. “Butch” Goerg, 80, formerly of Medford, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at The Waterford in Colby where he had resided since October of 2021. He was under the care of Heartland Hospice at the time of his death.

As per Butch’s wishes, no services will be held. Butch was born June 9, 1941 in Medford to Clarence and Lucille (Cooper) Goerg. He graduated from Medford Area Senior High, then proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1963.

In 1965, Butch married Carol Anderson in Medford. They had one daughter, Debbie. They later divorced.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Goerg of Medford; and a brother, Fred (Marilyn) Goerg of Clayton, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his nephew, Derek Goerg.

In honor of Butch, memorials may be made to the veterans’ organization of your choice.
