Keith D. Gipp

1954-2022

Keith D. Gipp, age 67, of Curtiss passed away on Jan. 30, 2022 at Aspirus Medford Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors in the spring. The Maurina- Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.

Keith was born on Mar. 21, 1954, the son of David and Esther (Tohm) Gipp in Medford. He graduated from Colby High School in 1972. In June of 1972, Keith married Faye Blume and they later divorced. He served in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam War, stationed in Germany from 1973-76. Keith was a truck driver for most of his working years.

Keith was a proud member of the Curtiss Lions and caretaker of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss. He lived modestly and enjoyed being with his friends. Keith especially loved being with his grandchildren and son, Chris for their weekend breakfasts.

Keith is survived by his two children, Brenda (Jason) Stiller of Shakopee, Minn. and Christopher Gipp of Stetsonville; five grandchildren, Zolea Stiller, Dominic, Evan, Isaac and Izabella Gipp; and special family friend, April Yeager of Medford; his brother, Cliff (Sue) Gipp of Northfield, Minn. and their son, David; a sister-in-law, Sue Gipp of Tripoli and her son, Corey (Jennifer) Gipp and their children, Olivia and Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don; and a sister, Elaine.
