The following car versus deer accidents were reported: Roger Frank Ogle, 55, of Medford, on CTH O, on October 29, at 5 p.m., in the town of Hammel; Justin David Buelow, 31, of Colby, on CTH C, on October 29, at 6:22 p.m., in the town of Browning; Arnold Samolinski, 67, of Medford, on Hwy 64, on October 29, at 7 p.m., in the town of Hammel; Dennis Keith Pingel, 58, of Kaukauna, on Hwy 13, on October 29, at 10:43 p.m., in the town of Little Black; Heather Elizabeth Post, 29, of Owen, on Hwy 64, on October 31, at 12:24 a.m., in the town of Medford; Jack G. Rudolph, 59, of Medford, on Hwy 13, on October 24, at 6:47 p.m., in the town of Deer Creek; Robyn Lynn Renderman, 38, of Owen, on CTH DD, on October 25, at 6:53 p.m., in the town of Holway; Todd Alfred Nernberger, 61, of Stetsonville, on CTH A, on October 28, at 5:36 a.m., in the town of Little Black; Garry Lynn French, 70, of Lublin, on Elm Dr., on October 29, at 6:35 a.m., in the town of Roosevelt.

Judy Marie Pekol, 67, of Wausau and passenger, James Ernest Pekol, 85, of Wausau, were traveling northbound on Hwy 13, on October 28, at 6:35 p.m., in the town of Chelsea, when a deer entered the roadway. Pekol, struck the deer, which was deceased upon arrival to the scene. Judy Pekol, had possible injury to her neck and right shoulder, while James Pekol, had possible injury to his left leg. Both occupants refused EMS services. The vehicle drove away from the scene.

Tayler Alexander Mueller, 16, of Medford, and Jonathan Bruce Weatherford, 27, of Medford, were traveling northbound on Hwy 13, on October 29, in the town of Medford, when Weatherford slowed to a stop for traffic backup due to a vehicle attempting to make a left turn. Mueller advised that he was throwing his hat in the backseat and when he turned around, he observed that Weatherford, was stopped in front of him. Mueller was not able to stop in time and struck the rear of Weatherford’s vehicle. Both vehicles drove away from the scene. Operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive and careless or erratic manner were factors in the crash, according to the accident report. Mueller was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

Callie L. Tomczyk, 76, of Dorchester, was traveling north on Hwy 13, at 12:54 p.m. on October 28, in the town of Deer Creek. Grace Lorraine Dietel, 84, of Dorchester, was behind Tomczyk. Tomczyk slowed down to make a left turn onto Elm Ave., Dietel, didn’t see Tomczyk slowing down, and hit the rear of Tomczyk’s vehicle. Dietel was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way.

Natalia Amara Love Schmitt, 31, of Medford was legally parked on Main St, in the city of Medford on October 27, at 1:38 p.m., when Joanne Lorraine Goessl, 77, of Medford was backing her car when she accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake, and struck Schmitt’s vehicle. According to the report, unsafe backing and failing to control the vehicle were factors in the accident.

Annette Tilch, 62, of Curtiss, was stopped in a parking lot on Perkins St., October 29, at 8:25 p.m., while Tavis J. Zittlow, 39, of Medford was waiting for another vehicle in the parking lot to move. Zittlow was backing from his parking stall and did not see Tilch behind him, when he struck her right front quarter panel. No injuries were reported.
