James J. Linscott Sr., age 64, of Abbotsford, passed away peacefully with his wife and kids by his side on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021.

A funeral Mass was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Abbotsford. The visitation was at noon and luncheon followed Mass.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at St. Jude Church in Wauwatosa. Visitation is from 10-12 p.m., Mass at noon with a luncheon to follow at Alioto’s.

Jim was born on January 20, 1957, in Wauwatosa, the son of Robert J. and Bernice C. (Burke) Linscott. Jim was a 1975 graduate of Tosa East and was an over the road truck driver for 25 plus years. Jim was united in marriage to Toni Novak on November 11, 2017.

Jim’s faith, family and friends were the most important things to him. He was also a dog lover, a jokester and an avid supporter of the military.

Jim is survived by his wife, Toni of Abbotsford; his three children: Jim Linscott Jr. of Palmyra, Christine (Chris) Nevermann (Grace, Ryan, Ella and Charlotte) of Fort Atkinson and Denise Linscott (Halo) of Fort Atkinson; step-children: Ethan (Mack and Dominic), Cody and Dillion Novak. He is further survived by his siblings: Bob (Lynn), Tom, Helen, Mike and Mary Linscott, along with many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Bob and Bernice), wife (Carla Mason), and a brother (Pat Linscott).
