Elizabeth “Betty” L. Seidl

1927-2021

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Seidl, 94, of Medford, passed away at Country Gardens on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021. worked for 8 years for Dr. Eugene Krembs in Merrill as a dental assistant. She returned to Medford in 1955 and worked as an administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Medford Area School District until her retirement in 1989.

Betty enjoyed reading and gardening. She volunteered extensively at Holy Rosary Catholic School and Church.

Betty is survived by her sisters-in-law, Connie Seidl of Wausau and Dorothy Seidl of Milwaukee. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Meyer and Dorothy Rodehaver and brothers, Joseph, Jerome, Arthur, James, Ralph, Richard, and Thomas Seidl.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Betty’s name to Holy Rosary Catholic School, 215 Washington St. Medford, WI 54451.

A Memorial Mass for Betty took place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation took place on Thursday, Sept. 2 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Betty was born on Mar. 16, 1927 in Medford to Joseph and Louise (Frenzel) Seidl. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and graduated from Medford High School in 1945. Betty worked at the Rib Lake Dairy Lab in Medford after high school. She later Paid Obituary 109988
