Julie L. Bockin, 58, Medford died on Sunday, Nov. 15 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past nine days.

Medford Clinic. She enjoyed flowers, reading, cooking, baking, research time on the computer, following Wisconsin sports teams and spending time with her family. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville.

Surviving Julie are her parents, Gary Quammen of Medford, LeMay Wilde of Abbotsford; step-daughters, Jessica (Don) Holtman, Medford and Amanda Burkhart, Antigo; six step-grandchildren; siblings, Roxane (Rod) Robida of Medford and Andy Quammen of Maui, Hawaii; mother-in-law, Elaine Bockin, Medford; brother-in-law, Dick Bockin, Stetsonville; sisterin- law, Lori Reeve of Arena; along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her husband, Guy.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Julie was born on Mar. 21, 1962 at LaCrosse, the daughter of Gary L. and LeMay J. (Olson) Quammen. She attended New London and Medford elementary schools and was a 1980 graduate of Medford High School. Her marriage to Guy Lee Bockin took place on Apr. 30, 2004 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville and he preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2020.

After her education, she worked as a receptionist at the Medford Clinic. For the past 40 years, she has worked as a patient access scheduler for Aspirus
