Patricia “Pat” A. Hennlich, 86, formerly of Owen, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center under the tender care of hospice. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at Saint Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. Father Timothy Oudenhoven will officiate. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church.

Pat was born on June 6, 1933, the daughter of Frank and Esther (Anderson) Feldt. She graduated from Ondossagon High School in Ashland in 1951. On Oct. 17, 1971, Pat was united in marriage to James Hennlich and he preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2020.

Pat was the editor for the Tribune Phonograph in Abbotsford for many years. She also was a writer and wrote a column called Henn-Pecks for the paper. Pat also worked as a certified nursing assistant at Clark County Health Care Center for several years. She enjoyed camping, photography, hunting and fishing. Pat was also a gourmet cook. Most importantly, she cherished her family.

Pat is survived by her two children, Paula (Tim) Baker of Dorchester and Perry Johnson of Duluth, Minn.; five grandchildren, Betsy (Dallas), Jerry, Wesley, Joseph and Christian Baker; and five greatgrandchildren, Gerald Ivan Baker III, Kylia Nordloff, Brhyer Churkey, Sawyer James Krueger and Ivy Marie Krueger. She is further survived by a niece, two nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; a granddaughter, Tasha Ley; and a sister, Madeline “Betty” (Donald) Belsky.
