Mae Schroepfer, age 96, Stratford, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center.

Mae was born on October 23, 1929, in Marshfield, to Peter and Tressiea (Steuber) Grassl.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Stratford, with Rev. Eric Mashak presiding. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
