Rhonda Schmid

Rhonda Schmid, age 71, of Athens, formerly of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at The Athenian, Athens.

The former Rhonda Jean Retzlaff was born on September 28, 1954, in Tigerton, to Eugene and Leona (Steinke) Retzlaff.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb, 28, at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 Elm Street, Athens. Rev. Mark Schwarz will preside. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is assisting the family.
