NOTICE Cadott Village Board Minutes June 1, 2020 The Finance Committee met at 6 p.m. to audit the bills. Present were: Randy Kuehni and president Albarado. Absent: Bart Chapek The regular meeting of the Cadott Village Board was called to order by president Anson Albarado. Trustees present were: Bart Chapek, Russ Falkenberg, Randy Kuehni and Eric Weiland. Absent: Terry Licht. Public present: Patrick Beilfuss (Cedar Corp.), Len Schreiber (Cedar Corp.) and Julia Wolf (reporter). The next regular board meeting will be June 15, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.

A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Falkenberg, to approve the minutes of the May 18, 2020, teleconference board meeting. Weiland stated that the fire dept. did not donate the masks to our public works dept., but a friend did. The clerk will make that correction. MC.

A motion was made by Kuehni and seconded by Albarado, to approve the bills dated June 1, 2020. Motion by roll call. MC.

A motion was made by Kuehni and seconded by Falkenberg, to approve any additional monthly bills. MC.

Regarding the COVID- 19, the public works and police dept. is status quo. Buetow stated that the office is open to the public again. A drop box has been installed for utility payments.

Beilfuss went over the draft developer’s agreement with Road Runner Repair. Changes were made in red. Under #2 (b) (3) it should be $501,000 instead of $500,000. (6) Vizer has provided proof of financing (7) will fence in any areas of the property for long term storage. Two additions will be made. Under the village’s undertakings side, the village agrees to sell the property for $13,500 per acre. Under the developer’s undertaking side, 2 (b) (9) will say any items 1-4, instead of 1-3, in regard to additional payment, if those certain items are not met. A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Kuehni, to approve the developer’s agreement with the changes discussed. MC.

Beilfuss discussed the Certified Survey Map drawn up for the village’s land in the industrial park. The cul-de-sac is on village property, but also on the property that Road Runner Repair wants to buy. We can label it a temporary cul-de-sac on the CSM. The easement that is there already will be released and it will be put on the easterly part of the land that is being sold. The work done in that area will provide the electrical loop that is needed up in the industrial park. A motion was made by Falkenberg and seconded by Weiland, to approve the CSM. MC.

A motion was made by Falkenberg and seconded by Kuehni, to have Cedar Corp. locate the easement to the south of Lot 2 in the industrial park. Albarado stated that Cedar Corp. should let us know of any additional costs. MC.

Albarado explained his conversation with Vince, from AEP, regarding solar power. The solar project will provide capacity and ancillary savings, as well as solar RECS. He has invited him to attend a closed session before the next board meeting.

Clerk Buetow stated that the Board of Review members have met here tonight, but will adjourn until July 15, 2020, from 5-7 p.m.

A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Falkenberg, to absorb the overage in the public library’s budget this time, but not if it happens again. MC.

A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Kuehni, to approve an operator license to Aleisha Jean Merritt, at Whispering Pines Golf. MC.

A motion was made by Kuehni and seconded by Weiland, to approve an operator license to Keri Lynn Gribble, at River Country. MC.

A motion was made by Weiland and seconded by Chapek, to approve an operator license to Danielle Rae Ekern, at River Country. MC.

A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Weiland, to approve an operator license to Amy Marie Ellis, at DJ’s Mart. MC.

A motion was made by Weiland and seconded by Kuehni, to approve an operator license to Sherie Lynn Davidshofer, at DJ’s Mart. MC.

Clerk Buetow will have the building permit issuer remind people putting up fences, that they cannot block the meter reader from reading the meters.

Albarado will get more information on reimbursable costs from the COVID- 19 virus.

Albarado commended the CCA and Lions club for the nice work done with the business district signs at the corner of Highway 27 and County X.

Schreiber stated that the second lift of blacktop, on S. Poplar St., will be done June 10, 2020.

Chapek stated that he talked to Matt Chilson and the project is on hold, because of the COVID-19, and the price for his building right now is really high.

A motion was made by Chapek and seconded by Falkenberg, to adjourn the meeting. MC.
