School District of Cadott Community Board of Education Committee of the Whole Meeting March 2, 2020 The following members were present: Donna Albarado, Mark Schley, Rod Tegels, Cedric Boettcher, Alan Sonnentag and Brad Sonnentag.

Absent, were Tony Riley, Jenny Starck, Sue Shakal and Becca Blanchette.

Mr. Tegels called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Discussion was had on the following topics: 1. Multi-year facilities plan update 2. Junior/senior high school courses 3. Quarter/trimester grades 4. FastBridge data 5. Fund 80 options 6. Calendar 2020-21 7. WASB School Board Evaluation 8. Board development 9. CESA 10 contract for 2020-21 Mr. Tegels left the meeting at 8:25 p.m.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:47 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Schley.

Motion carried.

Absent was Tony Riley and Alan Sonnentag.

Mr. Tegels called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to go into closed session, per State Statute 19.85 (1) (c), approve going into closed session to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction, or exercises responsibility. Superintendent contract/evaluation. Seconded by Mrs. Albarado. Motion carried 7-0 roll call vote.

Mr. Brad Sonnentag left the meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to reconvene from closed session. Seconded by Mr. Schley.

Mr. Schley motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:22 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Boettcher.

Motion carried.

Also present were: Jenny Starck, Sue Shakal, Julia Wolf, Karita Harvey, Katie Stanton, Becca Blanchette, Jim Munroe, Robin Strzyzewski, Char Seibel, Amanda Schuebel, Carolyn Wanish and Amy Wellner.

Mr. Tegels called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to approve the following consent agenda. Seconded by Mr. Boettcher. Motion carried.

– Approval of Feb. 3 and Feb. 10, meeting minutes.

– Approval of financial reports and vouchers Mrs. Starck reported on CESA 10 Contract 2020-21, Health Plan Communication, 2020-21 School Calendar, Strategic Planning update, Fund 80 options, FastBridge results, grade reports, attendance/ behavior, athletic/ activities participation, All Time Best, facilities update and Forecast 5 budget/ model.

Mrs. Albarado motioned to approve the CESA 10 service contract for 2020-21. Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Mr. Boettcher motioned to approve the junior/senior high school course changes. Seconded by Mr. Riley. Motion carried.

Mr. Schley motioned to approve the 2020-21 school calendar (option 3). Seconded by Mr. Alan Sonnentag. Motion carried.

Alan Sonnentag arrived at 3:18 p.m.

Also present was Kristin Drake, Kathy Paff, Lisa Gumness, Lisa Siverling, Missy Lesik, Deb Zais, Caleb Hundt, Sue Shakal, Rhonda Pederson, Heather Hoyt, Aleisha Merritt, Larry Scheidler, Heather Wojtczak.

Mr. Alan Sonnentag motioned to provide insurance/ cash-in-lieu benefi ts to current hourly employees from March 31, until school is back in session, not to exceed June 30, 2020, and to include flexibility in accumulated leave options.

Seconded by Mr. Boettcher. Motion carried, 7-0 roll call vote.
