The following appeared in court and enter pleas of not guilty: Amie L. Sindicic p.k.a. Amie Lee Jensen, 34, Stetsonville, forgery (as a party to a crime) and theft of movable property greater than $5,000 to $10,000 (as a party to a crime); Benjamin J. Hempel, 30, Medford, battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury) and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury); Dionsius S. Johnson a.k.a. D.J. Johnson, 37, Medford, possession of THC-repeater and possession of drug paraphernalia-repeater; Jacob P. Hetue, 22, Waupun, vehicle operator fleeing/eluding officer; Karen M. Linsdau p.k.a. Karen M. Haizel, 44, Rib Lake, disorderly conduct(domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury); Krista L. Zucker, 17, Medford, sexual intercourse with a child age 15 or older, actor under 19.
Ann M. Hartwig, 18, Medford, pled guilty to an amended charge of possession of a controlled substance and entered into a deferred prosecution or sentence agreement for a period of one year. The original charge had been possession of THC. As terms of the agreement, Hartwig must perform 20 years of community service (it is the discretion of probation if they will consider community service hours the defendant had previously served); pay supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections (DOC); and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and comply with any treatment recommendations (probation will determine if the defendant needs to undergo another alcohol and drug assessment as it was indicted she had recently completed an assessment). Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the charge.
Nicole M. Jacobsen, 18, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of marijuana and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been possession of THC. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motions.
Mechel A. Kemp, 54, Ogema, pled no contest to operating while under the influence-second offense. Kemp was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail; pay a forfeiture of $1,664; must submit to a DNA sample; her driver’s license was revoked for 16 months; an ignition interlock device is to be installed on her vehicle for one year; and she must undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and comply with the driver safety plan. A count of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC)-second offense was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Richard W. Noziska, 55, Westboro, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct.
Danielle M. C. Stokosa, 29, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of deviating from the lane of traffi c and forfeited $175.30. The original charge had been failure to yield the right-of-way.
Makayla S. Pflugradt, 23, Spencer, pled no contest to possession of an illegally obtained prescription. Sentence was withheld and Pflugradt was placed on probation for one year on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by the probationary agent; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and comply with all treatment recommendations.
Serapio V. Terrones III, 38, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of battery. The original charge had been child abuse-intentionally causing harm. Sentence was withheld and Terrones was placed on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; write a letter of apology, pre-approved by probation, to the victim within 30 days of sentencing; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow through with any treatment recommendations.
Jared J. Zastrow, 27, Stetsonville, pled no contest to forgery-uttering. Sentencing was withheld and Zastrow was placed on probation for three years on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $1,072.69 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; write a letter of apology, pre-approved by probation, to Taylor Credit Union within 30 days of sentencing; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; and obtain/maintain full-time employment or schooling at the probationary agent’s discretion. A count of felony bail jumping was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
Zastrow pled no contest to maintaining a drug traffi cking place (as a party to a crime). Sentence was withheld and Zastrow was placed on probation for three years on the condition he serve four months in jail; pay a forfeiture of $518 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; have no contact with the victim; maintain absolute sobriety; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; obtain/maintain full-time employment or schooling at the probationary agent’s discretion; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all treatment recommendations.
