Michael Hindman

Michael A. Hindman, age 48, Greenwood, formerly of Long Beach, Calif., passed away at his home on Thursday, March 19, 2026. A memorial luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Greenwood Park on Lone Road.

Michael Alex Hindman was born on May 17, 1977, to Russell and Terry L. (Takacs) Hindman. He was raised and received his education in Long Beach, where he attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and Long Beach City College. After his education, Michael worked as a security guard for various companies, most recently Allied Universal Event Services in Long Beach. In 2023, he moved to Greenwood, where he lived until his death.

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, museums, watching TV, and spending time with friends. He was a devoted Christian.

Michael is survived by two sisters, Nikki Boone of Long Beach, Calif., and Stephanie Hindman of Los Alamitos, Calif.; and two nieces.
