Rita M. Rudolph, 88, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026 at Our House Assisted Living, under the care of Hope Hospice, surrounded by family. A memorial service for Rita will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.

Rita was born in Medford on Aug. 15, 1937, to Hubert and Mary (Werner) Henrichs. She graduated from Medford High School in 1957 and married the love of her life, Harold Rudolph, on Feb. 11, 1961. The two recently celebrated an extraordinary milestone, 65 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children and built a warm, welcoming home filled with love.

She found joy in gardening, tending to her flowers, reading, canning, and taking leisurely Sunday car rides. Above all, Rita cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold; children, Sue (Robert) Klimowski and Mike (Rhonda) Rudolph, of Medford; grandchildren, James and Matthew (Melissa) Rudolph, Steve Franz, Stacy (Brad) Meskill, Melissa (Austin Michels) Klimowski, Amy (Austin) Jordahl, Megan (Noah) Waldhart, and Mallory Rudolph; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Franz, Owen and Rolan Meskill, and Paisley and Piper Waldhart. Rita is further survived by her brothers, Harold (Carol) Henrichs, Peter (Esther) Henrichs, David (Lorraine) Henrichs, and Jim (Mary) Henrichs; sisters, Mary Ann Henrichs, and Carol (Eldor) Buenning; daughter-inlaw, Mary Rudolph, of Medford; and many other family and friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; son, Harvey Rudolph; brothers, Eddie, Nick, Norbert, and Ray; sisters, Imelda Duessing, Karen Bain, and Loretta Fischer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rita’s name may be given to Hope Hospice.
