Mark J. Telisczak

Mark J. Telisczak, 73, Thorp, passed away, at his home, Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.

Mark was born July 29, 1952, in Stanley, to John and Madeline (Poppe) Telisczak.

He was raised and received his education in the Stanley area, graduating from Stanley High School. After high school, Mark went to work for Walters Brothers Lumber Manufacturing in Holcombe, where he worked for many years, before retiring.

Mark had many interests, but especially loved duck hunting, deer hunting and fishing on the Yellow River.

He is survived by his mother – Madeline Telisczak, Medford; two brothers – John, Cornell, and Steve (JoAnne), Gilman; one sister – Karen (Larry) Lemke, Gilman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother – David Telisczak; and his sister-in-law – Jane Telisczak.
