Growing up with five older sisters, Bailey O’Connor had no shortage of opportunity to perfect hair styling, spending hours on end, experimenting with just the right look. That’s why, after graduating from Lake Holcombe High School in 2021, the Holcombe native naturally turned to the world of beauty. After finishing her training as a cosmetologist, she decided to branch out on her own and opened Hair Haven Salon, June 23, at 327 N. Main Street in Cadott. By doing so, she combined her love of creativity, with genuine desire to help others feel confident and beautiful. “That early spark turned into a lasting passion for me,” she said. “I chose Cadott, because it has that small town charm and a really welcoming feel. The community is growing and full of potential, and when the opportunity came up, it felt like the perfect place to create something of my own.” The shop is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with most Saturdays taken up with bridal party styling. O’Connor and stylist Jaelynn Shackleton offer traditional hair cuts, coloring, hair extensions and waxing, as well as the aforementioned and bridal services.
