Marathon and Clark County residents are doing their part to restore the health of local waterways by participating in the state Water Action Volunteers (WAV) program.
A large bald eagle was observed cruising over the Chelsea Conservation Club on Hwy 13 on Thursday, September 10. At this point in the season eagles tend to frequent areas with plenty of open water, hunting for fish and other aquatic life before the cold sets in, cutting off those food sources.
