• Mail: Wisconsin Department of Transportation 718 W. Clairemont Ave. Eau Claire, WI 54701 Attn.: Christena O’Brien To address deteriorated pavement, WisDOT is now proposing to: • Pulverize 6 inches of the existing pavement and base, relay the pulverized material and place 4.5 inches of new asphalt pavement for the full travel lane and paved shoulder width and all right-turn and bypass lanes

• Pulverize and relay 4 inches of the existing pavement and base and place 2 inches of new asphalt through the entire wayside The proposed work remains unchanged:

• Completing culvert work, including cleaning, lining, repairing or replacing culverts and cleaning ditches to restore roadway drainage

• Installing centerline rumble strips for the total length of the project

• Removing and replacing all guardrail at the McKenzie Creek Bridge During construction, WIS 64 will be closed to through traffic, which will be detoured via WIS 73, WIS 29 and WIS 13. WIS 64 will remain accessible for local traffic using flagging.

Construction currently is scheduled for 2029, but work could be advanced to 2028 if funding becomes available.
