Timothy Mulvaney Timothy Mulvaney

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Timothy R. “Tim” Mulvaney, age 66, on July 18, 2025, in Hatfield. Born Feb. 21, 1959, in Marshfield, to Loren and Marlene (Schlafke) Mulvaney, Tim mainly resided in his home state of Wisconsin, particularly in Merrillan.

After graduation, Tim worked for the railroad. He also worked at Lunda Iron Works building bridges and stadiums.

Subsequently, he established his own business, Ace Sealcoating, located in Alma.

Beloved father of Andrew Schroeder of Menominee, Chelsea Schroeder (Anthony) of Appleton, and Wyatt Mulvaney of Willard, Tim is survived by his grandchildren: Adrial, Brock, Cebrina, Tanner, Jaidyn, and Gavin. He is also survived by his sister, Laurinda Ruxton (Scott) of Merrillan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends, including the fishing and pool world, and his great friend and roomate Joel Conner of Humbird.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Marlene Mulvaney.

Tim enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially fishing in Wisconsin and competing in pool tournaments, where he won numerous trophies. His favorite place was the Hatfield canal at the hydro dam, catching his limit of crappies and walleyes. Above all else, Tim held a deep love for his children and a steadfast belief in God.

Bless you, Tim—may you be at peace. You are loved and will be missed dearly by those who knew you.

A memorial gathering will be held on Aug. 16, 2025, at 9 a.m. at One Shot Bar and Grill, 907 East Third St., Owen. There will be a pool tournament, along with 50/50 raffles thoughout the day. Enter the pool tournament or just come to visit with everyone that knew and loved Tim. He was a great friend to many of us and will be missed by us all. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the memorial gathering to help Tim’s children with funeral expenses.
