Hope Hospice recognized witn Honors Elite Award

Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Inc. was recently awarded the 2025 Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Honors Elite Recipient.

The Hospice CAHPS Honors Elite Awards recognize hospice agencies for their excellence in patient and caregiver experience. The Hospice CAHPS Honors annual program shines a spotlight on high-performing hospices agencies that continuously deliver quality care. This prestigious program is based on performance scores by the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems and exclusively recognizes agencies that have chosen to work with Matrixcare to administer their hospice surveys. There are two levels of recipients in this program. The ‘Hospice Honors Elite’ recipient is awarded to hospices scoring above the national performance scale on the 'Willingness to Recommend' question, while the ‘Hospice Honors Elite’, which Hope Hospice was awarded, must also score above the national scale on 100 percent, or all 24 quality indicator questions on the survey. The awards are based on results from the Hospice CAHPS survey, a national, standardized survey capturing the experiences of family members or friends who cared for a patient in hospice.

To earn the Honors Elite designation, hospices must outperform the national performance score on every single quality indicator question.

The awards recognize not just the care provided to patients but also the compassionate support extended to caregivers, helping families navigate difficult journeys with dignity and grace.
