Loyal FCCLA shines at Region 1 and 2 STAR events


Loyal Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members had a rewarding day at the Region 1 and 2 STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) events on Feb. 5 at UW-Stout. A total of 28 middle and high school students competed in 15 different categories, and all 28 qualified for the state conference in Wisconsin Dells on April 7-9.
This marks the largest group of competitors Loyal has ever sent and the first time all entries have advanced to state.
A special congratulations to Savannah Sneen, who will be attending as an ambassador, assisting with key event tasks. Parker Smith and Kacie Bauer have also been selected as ambassadors, supporting when their schedules allow. Additionally, State VP of Career Development Noelle Teschner will be leading officer team business meetings, and Kacie Bauer is a candidate for state office next year.
