CRASH

CRASH — On December 23, at 1:58 p.m., a vehicle operated by Irene Pipkorn, 69, of Westboro, was traveling northbound on N. 8th St. in the city of Medford. She was driving in the outermost lane of travel. A vehicle operated by Kassidy Janda, 18, of Medford, was traveling northbound in the innermost lane of N. 8th Street. Janda attempted to change lanes, moving into the outmost lane of travel before striking the Pipkorn vehicle. According to the crash report, Janda admitted to not checking her mirrors or her blind spot before changing lanes. Pipkorn honked her horn when she realized Janda was changing lanes, but it did not prevent the crash. Both vehicles received functional damage. MEDFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT
