Clayton “Squink” H. Bourget, 82, passed away, because of pulmonary failure, in the early morning, Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Clayton was born April 18, 1943, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Clayton L. and Lucille (Geist) Bourget.

He grew up in the Town of Colburn.

Clayton was united in marriage to Judy (Roshell), Aug. 3, 1968, for 57 years. They started their family in Boyd, and then moved to Cadott.

He enjoyed his 35 years, working at Amaco/Pactiv. Clayton enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, with his sons and grandchildren, working in the shop, reading Western novels and taking care of Nova, his beloved horse of 30 years.

He is survived by his wife; two sons – Scott (Tammy), Cadott, and Randy (Palm), Prior Lake, Minn.; two daughters – Rhonda (Brian) Pederson, Cadott, and Debbie (Mark) Peak, Cadott; eight grandchildren – Alex Bourget, Courtney Pederson, Brandon Peak, Tyler (Lexi) Bourget, Eric Pederson, Jake (Kenna) Peak, Brooke Pederson and Marissa (Jarod) Van Houten; two great-grandchildren – Forest Bourget and Oliver Peak; six brothers – Terry, Roger (Nancy), Jeff (Darlene), Steve (Eva), Denny (Carolyn) and Kevin; nine sisters – Kathleen Bourget, Patti (David) Schmitt, Linda Bourget, Gail (Richard) Roshell, Joyce (Mike) Sande, Lolly (Conrad) Eppers, Marsha Cornell, Joleen Bourget and Roxanne (Don) Betts; three brothersin- law – George Roshell, Dave (Brenda) Roshell and Jerry (Denise) Roshell; five sisters-in-law – Jane (Duane) Sorenson, Mary (Don) Burns, Marjorie (Pat) Siverling, Ann (John) Barnier and Susan Roshell; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother – Scott; two brothers-in-law – Larry Cornell and Tom Roshell; one sister-in-law – Kay Bourget; and three nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 19, from 4-7 p.m., with a service of Christian burial, at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ned Willkom officiating, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott. A private family inurnment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Boyd, at a later date.

Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, is assisting the family.
