Rebecca L. “Becky” (Henrichs) Mann

Rebecca L. “Becky” (Henrichs) Mann, age 43, and Joshua R. “Josh” Mann, age 44, of Gilman, entered Heaven together on April 9, 2025, hand in hand. Becky was born May 6, 1981 in Medford to Steven and Mary (Prell) Henrichs. She graduated from Medford High School in 1999. That same year, she married Shawn Konieczny and together had two children, Shawna and Bryant. They later divorced. Becky attained an Associate’s degree in Agricultural Science from Northcentral Technical College in 2010.
On Sept. 23, 2006 Becky married her soulmate, Joshua R. Mann. They resided in various places around Taylor County, finally settling on a farmstead in Gilman. Together they had two daughters, Danielle and Aubrey.
Josh was born Aug. 21, 1980 in Wausau to Wayne and Nancy (Melaski) Mann. He graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1998.
Josh was a hardworking, ambitious family man, as well as a man of God. He ran his own log trucking business while farming; was on the fire departments for Gilman, Cornell, and Jump River; and most recently elected to the Gilman School Board. He was usually outside tending to his animals, which included dairy cows, beef cattle and chickens; working on his farm equipment, watching the weather, especially storms, or grilling out. A true “Mr. Fix It” could fix or improve anything he worked on and was good at everything. Each day started with a pot of coffee (which may explain where his energy came from), and he was off to work.
Becky was first and foremost a mom, and stayed home with her children for many years, while also being a farmer’s wife. When she did work out of the home, she was a bank teller for many years at Nicolet Bank; and when Vault Village opened in Gilman, Becky managed the store, as well as worked at Village Feed and the Western Taylor County Library. She too was a hard worker with boundless energy. She enjoyed landscaping, gardening, decorating, shopping, and listening to 90’s music. She has been described as an

“over the top aunt” who loved to spoil all the kids in the family.
Becky and Josh were always together and put God and their family first. They led with their faith every day and grew as a devoted Christian couple. They enjoyed working together, whether it was on the farm, on family matters, or in their community where they were very active. They were a team in every sense. Not only were they at every game their own children played, they also attended many of their nieces’ and nephews’ events. Both were sports fanatics and enjoyed watching any and all sports. Josh especially loved watching basketball and cheering on the Packers; and when it was time to relax, they enjoyed watching the Golden Girls in the living room together, Josh with his coffee and Becky with her double-stuffed Oreos.
Becky and Josh’s faith, memories and legacy will live on through their four children, Shawna Konieczny of Los Angeles, Calif., Bryant Konieczny of Medford, Danielle and Aubrey Mann, both of Gilman; Becky’s parents, Steven and Mary Henrichs of Medford; Josh’s parents, Wayne and Nancy Mann of Medford; Becky’s paternal grandparents, Peter and Esther Henrichs; Becky’s siblings, Billie (Matt) Hartwig of Medford, Jacob (Ashley) Henrichs of Medford, Phillip (Lauren) Henrichs of Gilman, Eric (Abigail) Henrichs of Chippewa Falls; Josh’s siblings, Paula (Darin) Durst of Scottsdale, Ariz., Steve Mann of Phillips, Jena (Steve) Zenner of Medford, Michael (Leah) Mann of Plover; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Rylee, Wyatt, Mycah, Evan, Emma, Elizabeth, Evelynn, Peyton, Erika, Ezra, Andi, Jep, Korbi, and one on the way, Ronen.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Bob and Vi Melaski, Jim and Charlotte Prell, Andrew and Florence Mann.
A memorial service for Becky and Josh will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Medford with Rev. Mike Barnhart officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday, April 18 at First Baptist Church in Medford and again Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., all at the church.
